A specialist in business communications and market analyses, with a background in sector-specialist journalism and media production, Euan has held several senior positions focusing on technology-intensive industries.
As the first director of the Business Information Centre, BIC, at the prestigious Stockholm School of Economics he created and developed a research service that boasted all major management consultancies in Sweden, as well as MNEs in multiple sectors, as clients.
For many years Euan served as Trade Commissioner for Canada in ICT, transportation, and automotive in Sweden, and latterly in Finland, providing business intelligence and consultation to both major enterprises and SMEs.
Earlier in his career, Scott brought creative drive and enterprise to the office of Information Director at United States Information Service, USIS, in Stockholm. He transformed services based on a proactive policy of closely-defined objectives, leading to advisory assignments at USIS offices in other European locations.

Dave currently leads ELi’s operations in the United States and also serves as an Advisory Board Member. He brings a strong global security and intelligence background to ELi with in-depth experience in risk management, business intelligence, geopolitical advisory, cybersecurity, client and investor relations, and account management.
Before ELi, Dave served as a CIA operative and as an intelligence officer with the US Navy. Dave earned a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and also briefly worked as an auxiliary police officer with the NYPD. He is a dedicated leader and team manager with unique abilities in people assessment and relationship building/management.
A former Assistant Commissioner with the RCMP, Phil led one of the organization’s most complex portfolios, overseeing more than 1,000 employees in forensic science, biometric identification, and critical law enforcement information systems. He also served as Director General of Criminal Intelligence Service Canada, fostering collaboration across over 380 national and international agencies. With deep expertise in public safety, technology, and strategic leadership, Phil has built and led large, diverse teams, developed enterprise-level strategies, and advised on risk management, financial controls, and information sharing practices. He has represented Canada globally, engaging with stakeholders in countries including the U.S., U.K., Germany, Australia, and New Zealand.
Fluent in both English and French, Phil holds a master’s degree in leadership and management with a focus on Security and Intelligence and has served on numerous national and international executive committees in law enforcement and public safety.
Ari Baranoff is the Founder and Managing Partner of BlueCoat, a Washington, D.C.-based cybersecurity and risk management consulting firm. A former U.S. Government Executive, he led major cybersecurity and investigative programs at the U.S. Secret Service, including high-profile data breach investigations.
In the private sector, he served as Director of Investigations for North America at Citigroup, where he restructured the company’s investigative function. He later built and led PayPal’s global investigations program, including the creation of its first Fusion Center to manage high-risk events and cyber threats.
A graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School’s Executive Leadership Program, he is a recognized speaker and author on cyber investigations and insider threats. He founded BlueCoat to serve mid-market companies facing complex cyber, fraud, and insider risk challenges.
